Please check your system requirements for which version to download. The newer systems will use 64bit and older versions will use 32bit.

Glossary
Platform Terms
TradeStation:
TradeStation is a licensed and regulated online brokerage.
The Pivot Strategy functions on the TradeStation Desktop Platform.
Easy Language
(ELD) (.eld file):
Easy Language is the coding language used by TradeStation.
The Pivot Strategy is coded in Easy Language.
TSW (.tsw) file:
TSW stands for TradeStation Workspace. It functions on the
TradeStation Desktop platform.
TradeStation
Desktop (.tsd) file:
TSD stands for TradeStation Desktop. A TSD may have saved
TSW on it for ease of operation. It is separate from your computer desktop.
Trading Terms
Long: The
Strategy takes a Long position (buy) if it anticipates price going up.
Short: The
Strategy takes a Short position (sell) if it anticipates price going down.
LE: Long
Entry. Seeing LE on your chart with an arrow means that the Strategy entered
into a Long Position. The number next to it indicates how many contracts.
SE: Short
Entry. Seeing SE on your chart with an arrow means that the Strategy entered
into a Short Position. The number next to it indicates how many contracts.
LX: Long
Exit. Seeing LX on your chart with an arrow means that the Strategy exited a
Long Position. The number next to it indicates how many contracts.
SX: Short
Exit. Seeing SX on your chart with an arrow means that the Strategy exited a
Short Position. The number next to it indicates how many contracts.
BE: Seeing
BE after either LX or SX on your chart means that position was closed at a
breakeven amount.
STM: You
may see a line on your chart while in an active trade with STM on it. This
stands for ‘Sell to Market’ and represents the maximum amount of risk that
trade possesses.
Candlestick:
Candles are a visual aid in reading and making decisions on a chart. They
represent the price movement for the timeframe the chart is set to (ie 5 sec, 5
mins etc).
Tick: A
Tick is a minimum price fluctuation of an investment such as the S&P 500
and is set by the exchanges. A tick for the ES is worth $12.50 per contract.
Chart:
Graph that displays the price of an investment over time.
ES: The ES
is the symbol for the S&P 500 futures market
Pivot Lines:
The Pivot Lines displayed on your chart are generated by the Pivot Strategy
daily and are a visual representation of the algorithm’s ideal price levels for
entry, target exits, and stop loss levels.
Futures Market
Margin:
The Futures Markets treat the term Margin differently than in stocks/equities.
It is the minimum ‘good faith deposit’ needed in your brokerage futures account
to purchase a futures contract. This allows traders to utilize the power of
leverage in trading futures. The rate is set by the CME and the brokerage.
Minimum
Recommended Trading Capital: The minimum amount of capital Arch Public
recommends having in your account in order to utilize the Pivot Strategy. *this
is not financial advice, always consult your financial advisor.

Very Important! We strongly recommend you print this page and keep with you where you trade.
Computer Settings:
- Your computer must be set to Eastern Standard Time (EST)
- Your computer’s sleep mode settings must be set to NEVER

Before/After Trading Hours:
- Trading Hours are 9:30am to 4pm EST
- Exit the TradeStation Desktop (click yes to all when asked to save)
- Restart Computer before trading every day
During Trading/Operating Strategy:

Downloading the Strategy onto your Computer
Downloading the Pivot Strategy onto your Computer
- Download the zip file from your email
- Open the zip file.
- Open the zip file
Loading and Saving the Strategy on TradeStation'sDesktop Platform.

- Open TradeStation Desktop Platform
- Login to TradeStation
- Click "File" On The Menu Bar
- Click "Import/Export EasyLanguage..."
- Click "Next >"
- Click "Browse..."
- Locate Your Unzipped Folder on Your Computer
- Select your (Easy Language) ELD file
- Click "Open"
- Click "Next >"
- Click "Next >" again. If prompted, click "Yes to All"
- Click "Finish"
- Click "Yes to all"
- Click "OK"
- Click "OK"
- Click File on the "Menu Bar"
- Click "Open Workspace..."
- Locate the TradeStation Workspace (TSW) in the same location as your ELD file
- Click "Open Windows with Items Enabled"
- Click "File" on the Menu Bar
- Click "Save Desktop As..."
- Name Your TradeStation Desktop using today's date
- Save Your TradeStation Desktop. Use this until your next Pivot Strategy update arrives (typically once per quarter).
- Click "Close Workspace"
- Click "Yes to All"
Turning the Strategy ON
- On the TradeStation Desktop Platform, Click "Studies"
- Click "Edit Strategies..."
- Click "Generate strategy orders for display in TradeManager's Strategy Orders tab". Make sure the box is checked.
- Click "Automate execution using". Make sure the box is checked. You will see your Account Number in the box to the right.
- Click "I Agree"
- Click "account with confirmation"
- Set to "Off"
- Click "I Agree"
- Click "OK". Your Pivot Strategy is now Active and will execute trades.
Turning the Strategy OFF
- Click "Studies"
- Click "Edit Strategies..."
- Click "Generate strategy orders for display in TradeManager's Strategy Orders tab". Make sure the box is unchecked.
- Click "OK". Your Pivot Strategy is now Off and will not execute any trades until turned back on.
Closing a Trade Manually in TradeStation
- If you do not see the Chart Trading Bar on the right, Click the "Chart Trading" button to make it visible
- Click "Cxl All" on the bar on the right. This will cancel all positions. You can also click "Close" in the same area to close your open trade.
- Zoomed In
How to View Strategy Performance Results
- Click "Data"
- Click "Strategy Performance Report"
- Choose the Timeframe for Results: Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Annual.
- Click "Daily" to View Daily Performance
- Choose "Weekly" to view the Weekly Performance
- At the bottom of the Window, you can view results in graph form or view Trade Analysis etc. Click "Performance Graphs"
- See a birds eye view of the Strategy Performance over time with the Performance Graph.

Account Settings Selections
Funding your TradeStation Account
You must fund your account with a minimum of $500 in order to download the Desktop Platform .
- Fund your individual futures account with the lowest account number
- The quickest way funds are available is via Smart Transfer and is recommended.
Subscribe to CME Data
In order for the strategy to function properly, you must have the correct historical data connected to your account. Follow the steps below to ensure that your TradeStation account is receiving the correct trade data.
- Visit the TradeStation Client Center
- Go to Customer Profile
- Software & Data Subscriptions
- Edit
- S Market Data
- Futures & Futures Options Data
- Select CME Real-time Data Package #1
Download theTradeStation Platform
Next you'll need to download the TradeStation Platform onto your desktop.
Again, you'll visit the TradeStation Client Center and follow the image below to download the platform.
Locating your Client/Customer Number
Your automated strategy is specific to you and will only function on your account. To receive your strategy, we need your TradeStation Client Number.

This information can be found within the TradeStation platform.
